SYNOPSIS:
Darkness falls,
wolves howl, and lunatics sing in this hysterically funny Rick Abbot spoof.
It's a madcap musical that spins the legend of everyone's favorite vampire into
a hilarious cabaret act complete with music, dancing, and special effects.
Rick Abbot wrote this parody in the early '80s, paying as much homage to Mel
Brooks as he does to Bram Stoker.
Set in 19th century England, the story centers around a madhouse run by the
inimitable Dr. Seward. His new neighbor is a certain Hungarian Count with
designs on the neck of the doctors daughter Mina. When the crazed vampire
hunter Van Helsing arrives to warn the household, the family is slow to grasp
the danger that she is in. How slow? When Van Helsing warns them
that after the third bite on Minas neck, she "would become the same dreaded
thing that he himself must forever be", Sophie responds with "Hungarian?"
But when the Count entices Mina off to his castle, it is up to Van Helsing,
Seward, his ditzy wife Sophie, surly maid Nelly, Minas saucy friend Bubu, and
resident madman Boris Renfield to save her.

SYNOPSIS:
The sisters are
back and this time they're taking Las Vegas by storm, presenting NUNSENSATIONS!,
the flashy and fun sixth show in Dan Goggin's NUNSENSE series.
NUNSENSATIONS!, The Nunsense Vegas Revue takes the sisters on a brand new
adventure. When a Hoboken parishioner volunteers to donate $10,000 to the sisters'
school if they perform at a club in Las Vegas, Mother Superior is hesitant to
accept. However, the other sisters are able to convince her that "what happens
in Vegas, stays in Vegas". The feather-filled, sequin-studded benefit is
staged in The Pump Room at the Mystique Motor Lodge and the sisters prove that
even nuns can offer up large doses of T. and A. ...That's talent and attitude!

SYNOPSIS:
Michael Cooney's
CASH ON DELIVERY is a farce centered around
Eric Swan who, unbeknown to his wife Linda, has been defrauding the Department
of Social Security for two
years by claiming benefits for an army of fictitious lodgers, all of whom suffer
from a variety of ailments for which they can claim. The play begins when
Eric finds it all getting too complicated and he tries to extricate himself by
killing off his make-believe tenants. The first call he makes is to inform the
authorities that one of his creations, Norman Bassett (the lumberjack) has died.
He is interrupted in this scheme by the real life Norman Bassett (a shoe salesman) who
actually is Eric's lodger, but has no idea that Eric is claiming benefits in his
name. Norman gets sucked into Eric's web of deceit a few minutes later
when Mr. Jenkins, a Social Security Inspector comes around to visit yet another
one of the fictitious claimants.
As Linda, Uncle George (the only other person who knows about the scam),
Norman's fiancιe, and assorted officials from the government turn up, different
lies unfold, until finally the orchestration of bad timing, mistaken
identities, and hasty inventions leads to an incredibly convoluted plot
involving a drunk government official, a crazy mother who eats wall paper, two
corpses, one deaf piano tuner, one lumberjack, several cross dressers, and a
very temperamental washing machine.

Forget peace
and love! The 70's were all about movin' and groovin'! From
platform shoes to bell-bottoms to discotheques, it was a decade defined by style - along with
what was heard on an eight-track tape. The era created a perfect
musical bridge that merged the rebellious 60's with the techno-laden 80's.
Come spend some time under the MCT mirror ball with the classic ballads and
songs the whole country boogied down to. If you have been there, you
know. If you haven't, you will. Can ya dig it?

SYNOPSIS:
Based on the fairy tale of
The Princess and the Pea, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS was written by Mary
Rodgers (daughter of Richard Rodgers) and Marshall Barer as part of an adult
summer camp activity. Originally written as a one act play, it was so well received they decided
to expand it into a full length musical.
The story centers around Prince Dauntless the
Drab whose mother, Queen Agravain, seeking to keep the boy to herself, has
declared that he will wed only a true princess of royal blood. When Princess Winnifred arrives dripping wet (having swam the moat!) and declares herself a
contender for the Prince's hand, the Queen devises a clever test to determine
whether this self-proclaimed princess is worthy of her son.
ONCE UPON
A MATTRESS premiered at the Phoenix Theatre on May 11, 1959 with Carol Burnett
playing the part of Princess Winnifred, Joseph Bova as Prince Dauntless, and
Jane White as Queen Agravain.
