We present these pages to offer some
well-deserved recognition for the wonderful people who
have given their ideas, sweat, and time to the Marshalltown Community
Theatre. Without their efforts, our theatre would be little
more than a dark room. We celebrate your generous gift to our
community!
If
you
have participated in an MCT production in the past, in any capacity,
please take your bow with the folks on these pages. Contact the MCT
Web Site Information Director and arrange to be included.

Kelsey SAWTELLE Marshalltown, IA
As a student at the
University of Northern Iowa, Kelsey was not only studying to be a speech
and language pathologist, but she also pursued a Dance, Spanish, and
Education triple minor, which led her to comment, "I will be in college
forever." She took time out during the summer of 2008 to be a chorus
member in OLIVER! With the free time she has remaining, she enjoys
watching strange Indie films, knitting, and singing in her car.
"It's a charmed life."

Steve SCHEIDING Marshalltown, IA
THE GLASS MENAGERIE
was Steve's debut as an Assistant Director. You may remember him as
Richard Bravo in THE BAD SEED. In 2003 Steve portrayed Uncle Ben in our
production of DEATH OF A SALESMAN. He started out by volunteering to
help make stage flats and later became the stage manager for Agatha
Christie's TEN LITTLE INDIANS. Pushed by the stage crew to get out under
the lights, his first acting experience on our stage was in A THOUSAND
CLOWNS. Steve has demonstrated his ability to be "thoroughly theatre"
by working on the "dark side of the lights" also as a member of the
lighting and sound crew in various productions. He can truly be
considered a "seasoned" thespian, as he has acted in numerous other
shows, including CRIMES OF THE HEART, ARSENIC AND OLD LACE, THE
FOREIGNER, THE GOOD DOCTOR, OF MICE AND MEN, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
EVER, GALA '97, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST,
and A FEW GOOD MEN.
